I've been thinking a lot about a smaller footprint on our home planet. When is it okay for people to be conspicuous consumers, even if you can afford it? (See the 60 Minutes program on McMansions).
Tomorrow is Christmas Day and my activism is that I will NOT be going to any stores or places of business. If all of us did that, the stores would not make money and they would close and let their employees stay home with their families. Not just Christmas- all holidays.
Another activist behavior is not buying non-energy efficient lightbulbs. Let's run them out of business....we don't need no stinkin' laws to do the right thing.
I'll be adding to this page- please add comments. How can the sound of one hand clapping make policy changes?
