My Favorite Color is Chrome

Yah, Trace Adkins was really good. He's big and handsome and what a set of pipes! I love a man with a big belt buckle. Anyway, can you name 10 of his songs? I didn't know I knew so many, but here are a few, American Man, Chrome, You're Gonna Miss This, One Hot Mama, Bedonkadonk, Swing, Ladies Love Country Boys, Songs about Me, Arlington, I Left Something Turned on at Home, Every Light in the House. He sang all these and more for about 2 hours. He did a little "shakin' his moneymaker" himself. Also, we saw the sign that read "Show Merchandise" which I think he did quite nicely.

He told a funny tale about going fishing here in Alaska. He said the fishing license had a box to check if you were blind. The fishing license if you were blind is 25 cents. He said shame on us for charging a blind person to fish. Then, the scary part is $25 for a hunting license if you're blind. Think about it. He wondered how much a pilot's license would be.

A few goofballs got up on stage and then didn't know what to do. They were hauled off, but only one approached Trace and didn't really know what to do then. Ethel Dixon, one of my 4 lockermates in high school got arrested one time for jumping into the orchestra pit for a drumstick from Denny Wilson. Was it totally worth it? She loved it. In those days we practiced those types of occasions ahead of time. If I'd gotten up on stage with the Beatles, I would have made it worth my arrest by kissing Sir Paul. Now I'm glad I didn't have a chance!

Happy 50th birthday, Leslie. We went to the Aviator Steakhouse and then to the concert. The Steakhouse wasn't very good in my opinion. But then, I don't like steak all that much.
