Day #1 What We Saw

For our first day, we really saw lots of stuff. We walked to the Sun Yet Sen monument, then took mass transit to the Chiang Kai Shek monument and then Taipei 101, the world's tallest building (see both pictures).

We watched the very formal 10 minute "changing of the guard" at the Sun Yet Sen.

It was really fun dodging traffic, looking into shop windows. The heat is oppressive, but Ben's great shower made it right again.
