Definitely 9

Today was definitely 9+ out of ten. It would have been a perfect 10 if I didn't have to ride into the wind on part of my bike ride. A perfect 10 would have a tailwind in both directions.

After a fun time with Erin, I finished a book and went on a ride-about on the bike. The sky was overcast and the temps were a comfortable 65. Perfect exercise weather. I turned in a volunteer application at the Alaska Bird Observatory, picked up books at the library, visited the Pilons and Zoe, visited Brian at Cyberlynx, and finally ended up at the ARSC party.

The party had great food. Also, people who brought shirts tie-dyed them and they looked pretty good. It was a fun time visiting with our friends from ARSC and I got a peek at Liam's new baby boy, Tucker.

The evening ended with Othello. The lead was an American Indian; Cherokee/Blackfoot. He was very good at his role as was the bad guy, Iago.

Here is a synopsis in exactly 14 words:
Never marry a soldier. Violence is not a happy solution. Husbands tend to over-react.
