Home for the Holidays

What does a 25 year old do when he comes home for the first time in years?

Try to locate his old friends, call his girlfriend many times, try on his old clothes, give advice to his parents on everything from eating to home improvement, run outside at -10, look through photos, clean out his closet, watch a previously favorite video, go out to drink beer with said located friend, work on his computer, borrow the cell phone, quiz his parents on trivia, make up for frugality by eating more than he has eaten in a year.

When his sister arrives, he'll also be able to give advice on a wide range of Christmas and holiday traditions. We love having the kids home, but we did a good job of raising them to be independent. 'Nuff said.
