The concert on the lawn of UAF, Robin Dale Ford and Pat Fitzgerald, was great. Families were picnicing on the huge lawn and one little fellow entertained himself by riding his big wheel down the hill then dragging it back up and repeating. The sun was shining but it was not too hot. The folk style of guitar and banjo was perfect for a long summer evening.
No driving today- just bike and walk. It was a quiet day. I finally put away my hiking gear. I'm well into the 4 books I borrowed from the library. Sandwich and chips for dinner.
9:00 and still quite light outside. Time for an ice tea and a good book. Life is good.
